ANCRAGE
Foot reflexology
Françoise Van Hemelryck
Brussels (Laeken)
The turtle, symbol of connection with the earth, of rooting and of patience.
It represents longevity, stability and protection.
In the cult of animal totems, the turtle teaches how to move forward in peace and face life's challenges serenely.
Slow on land, but agile in the aquatic environment, this reptile encourages you to take a break from life and start looking for different, “unexplored” solutions.
I invite you to explore the benefits of foot reflexology to anchor yourself in a state of well-being in which your vital energy circulates freely.
Foot reflexology
Foot reflexology is a manual therapy that aims to strengthen the body's ability to rebalance itself (homeostasis).
It has been practiced for thousands of years and is recognized as a particularly effective natural medicine.
Reflexologists apply pressure to certain parts of the feet using only their hands in order to circulate energy optimally.
Foot reflexology is based on the principle that the foot is a miniaturized representation of the human body: each reflex point on the foot corresponds to an organ, gland or specific part of the body .

The benefits
Foot reflexology is considered a complementary therapy. It does not replace a medical diagnosis and in no way is a substitute for medication.
It serves as a support for treatment and prevention.
In the vast majority of cases, the immediate benefit of foot reflexology is deep relaxation and a renewed sense of energy.
It is an effective aid in managing stress and anxiety.
Stress management is considered essential in the prevention of many health conditions.
Foot reflexology can also be effective in relieving various ailments and disorders as a complement to conventional/allopathic medicine.
It is recommended in cases of:

The session

An adult session lasts 60 minutes. The session begins with an anamnesis: I listen to what you want to share about the weak points and the strong points of your health. We determine the aspects that require more attention.
The treatment begins with a foot massage to induce a state of relaxation. If the person specifies a specific problem or expectation, I work the reflex zones of the feet according to this request.
An individualized protocol is developed in which all the organic functions of the human body are worked on.
The treatment ends with relaxing movements.
You remain dressed throughout the session, preferably in loose and comfortable clothing . At the beginning, 3 sessions close together (7-10 days) allow you to restart the body's dynamics and feel the positive effects. Subsequently, the optimal frequency varies according to your needs.
Rates
Adults (60 min): 60 EUR
Children/Teens < 16 years (45 min): 40 EUR
Testimonials

Who am I?
With a degree in Social Communications, I have spent most of my career working for associations in the fields of health and education.
I like to get involved in things that help to improve quality of life. I have been using and training in complementary natural therapies for over ten years, convinced by a holistic approach to the human body.
Initially attracted to shiatsu, I noticed the powerful effect of working on the extremities of the body, particularly the feet. This is not surprising, given that each foot has over 7200 nerve endings.
I then decided to turn to foot reflexology, which quickly won me over and impressed me with its multi-dimensional benefits for a person's physical, psychological and emotional well-being. Since then, I have incorporated it into my personal care tools and I would like to share the benefits of reflexology (health and well-being) with others.
Empathetic and attentive, I like to offer a caring ear and boost people's confidence in their ability to take care of their own well-being.
